Academy for the Perfroming Arts - It is with great pride that we celebrate our 30th year as a vibrant arts institution. Come see a great performance at the Playhouse, or take a fun dance, music, theater or art class at the School. Open your horizons and experience the arts at The Academy of Performing Arts Cape Cod's finest quality theater and studio. We have many people to thank for our continued success: from Gordon and Betsy Argo who had the initial daring to purchase the Town Hall and begin its conversion into the Playhouse which you see today, to John and Elizabeth Kelly whose vision it was to create a school for the performing arts, to the incorporators who in 1975 sought to insure our future. Of course there are many others: our trustees, our faculty, our students, our parents and our audience members all of whom are an integral part of our past and who we hope will remain an integral part of our future. - [more info]
